Pearl Jam announces album and releases “Dark Matter”

The band begins a new stage by releasing the title single, “Dark Matter”from their new album that will be available in April.

One of the most iconic bands of the grunge movement is back with the promotion of their next musical material. The new of Pearl Jam promises to be an experience that will take fans back to the heaviest and most energetic memories they have of the band’s sound.

The twelfth study material of Pearl Jam, which will be titled Dark Matter, will be available through the record label Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records and its recording took place in Shangri-La Studios. Since its previous publication, the album Gigaton In 2020, the group led by Eddie Vedder has worked in the studio with the producer Andrew Watt –who has previously worked with artists such as King’s wool, Miley Cyrus and Ozzy Osbourne– which has helped Pearl Jam to bring out in form the musical bursts to which the North American group has accustomed us.

It is much heavier than you would expect. There’s the melody and energy of the first couple of albums. “Andrew motivated us to play as loud and melodically and thoughtfully as we have in a long time,” said guitarist Mike McCready in an interview with Classic Rock.
