Argentine music, Paz Lenchantin, departs from his position as bassist of Pixies.

The legendary alternative rock group, Pixiesannounced that his bassist, Paz Lenchantin He will leave his position in the group to focus on his own projects. The announcement came this morning through a publication on the band’s official Instagram.

Paz Lenchantin, who joined us in 2014, has left the band to concentrate on her own projects. “We are grateful for Paz’s many contributions, and we wish her all the best in the future,” Pixies shared in her statement.

Paz Lenchantin He first joined the ranks of Pixies in 2014 after Kim Shattuck departing from her then recent position as replacement for the group’s original bassist, Kim Deal. Before sharing scenarios with the group, Lenchantin participated in musical acts such as A Perfect Circle, Zwan and The Entrance Band where he was able to demonstrate his mastery of different instruments in addition to the bass – performing work on strings such as violin and cello. As part of Pixies, Paz Lenchantin participated in the recording of three studio albums; Head Carrier in 2016, Beneath the Eyrie in 2019 and Doggerel in 2022.
