The iconic 76-year-old artist gave little information about her health.

The legendary Patti Smith76, has surprised his fans by abruptly canceling his long-awaited concert at the Duse Theater from Bologna, Italy, after being rushed to Maggiore hospital due to a “sudden illness,” according to reports TG Com 24. The news was announced by the theater itself in a press release, expressing regret for the inconvenience caused and sending best wishes for the artist’s speedy recovery.

After canceling her performances in Venice, the singer-songwriter was discharged from the hospital in good health, the same hospital announced on Wednesday night. Added to this, Patti Smith shared a photo with staff doctor, thanking him for his support and guidance during his hospitalization.
