Olympic Games: Aya Nakamura, Celine Dion… the album of the ceremonies is in preparation

Music news

The ceremonies for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games were notably marked by musical performances as unique as they were memorable, which many would like to see brought together in an official compilation. Their request was heard.

Aya Nakamura, CĂ©line Dion, Kavinsky… Many celebrities have hosted the great show of the Paris 2024 Games ceremonies, giving certain French artists, in particular, unique global exposure.

This is the case, among others, of Aya Nakamura, whose interpretation of “Pookie X For me, formidable” created a real trend on social networks. As for the closing ceremony, it was Kavinsky who broke the record for the most “shazamed” title in one day with “Nightcall”, performed by Angèle.

Also supported by CĂ©line Dion's incredible performance on the Eiffel Tower, the soundtrack of the ceremonies arouses the interest of a large number of people wishing to relive these unique musical moments. Asked recently about the possible release of his performance on the Pont des Arts with the Republican Guard, Aya Nakamura simply kicked in.

“It’s going to happen”

But it seems that the soundtrack for the ceremonies is in preparation. In any case, this is the information released by the styling and costume director of the ceremonies, Daphné Bürki, also a commentator on France Télévisions, during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, this Wednesday August 28 .

“I know that many of you have asked for the music for the different ceremonies (…). It's going to happen. It’s on the right track”declared the host before welcoming Lucky Love, Sébastien Tellier and Christine and the Queens to the Concorde stage. Enough to hope to finally find in the same format the already cult performances of Céline Dion, Lady Gaga, Aya Nakamura or even Angèle and notable titles such as “Supernature” by Cerrone or “Midnight City” by M83.
