OLLY releases new single “Devastante”

Music news

Olly returns with his new song DEVASTANTE (out March 8, 2024).

Born from the need to talk about oneself freely and without filters, “Devastante” – written by Olly and produced in collaboration with JVLI – is a ballad with a pop sound, which expresses the artist’s desire to build increasingly stable and long-lasting relationships, with the fear and awareness of what this may entail.

Therefore, as if it were a crash test, Olly imagines what it could mean to live, dream, cry, laugh with a person by his side, to be able to confess without fear “For me you are devastating”.

With “Devastante” I’m looking for something capable of continuously “breaking” me, of making me start again every time as if it were the first. It doesn’t matter if it’s the love of a moment or of an entire life, I wish everyone and myself something devastating, to let myself be loved without letting the fear of losing overcome. It is precisely the risk of breaking ourselves that allows us to truly love.”

With “Devastante”, Olly continues the increasingly singer-songwriter, intimate and reflective path already undertaken with the song “A Squarciagola” and the more light-hearted single “Tutto con te”.
