October Drift in concert in Paris

Music news

The British indie rock band October Drift will meet you this Monday, December 16 at Point Éphémère in Paris.

The holidays are approaching, but not all groups have taken their leave yet! So, October Drift awaits you at Point Éphémère (Paris) this Monday, December 16. Places are available.

Fed with American indie rock from the 90s, Pixies and Smashing Pumpkins in the lead, as well as British post-punk, the group led by guitarist-singer Kiran Roy, promises you a sharp and powerful deluge of energy, strong up close of a decade of experience. Don't miss the wave that they promise to hit you with during their next Parisian date.

The British indie rock quartet will defend their new album, Blame The Young. We find in particular the title “Wallflower. » “I guess the theme of ‘making a tapestry’, or being the silent observer, echoes the moment I wrote this song, during lockdown,” says singer Kiran Roy. “The person in question observes from the side, sees the ugliness of the world and chooses to remain distant, passive. It's like witnessing an attack in the street, in the subway and doing nothing to intervene, or even being in society, unable to connect with anyone.”
