Niccolò Fabi watches the video of the new single “Acqua that flows”

Music news

Flowing water It is the title of the first anticipation of the new unpublished album by Niccolò Fabi, “Freedom in the eyes”, coming out on May 16.

A 5 -minute sound story and 40 seconds, accompanied by suggestive images, of the place where the disc was made, and by a performance by the skater Adele Antonelli created for the occasion on Lake Caprioli.

They played together with Niccolò, Roberto Angelini, Alberto Bianco, Filippo Cornaglia, Emma Nolde and Cesare Augusto Giorgini. The orchestral arrangement and the orchestra direction of the song are curated by Enrico Melozzi; He played the illegal night orchestra (Rome).

Here we are there.
More than ever this time it is difficult for me to isolate a song from the rest of the album.
As if I had to choose a chapter that represents it.
But of this video that accompanies her I am particularly happy.
It seems to me that the meaning of words amplifies and returns

The meaning of the journey we made to record this disc

Together with Bob Emma Albi Phil, Cesare and Riky.
Great merit is by Adele Antonelli who has danced on the frozen lake
in front of the hut where we were playing.

All enriched by the orchestration of Enrico Melozzi.

“Water flowing” is a love song, just to change,
This time dedicated to our land, seen with the eyes of a child
that in the face of the scientific religious dissertations of an adult on his creation,
He replies only with his amazement in front of the show
that we often take it for granted of the flowing water, of the arising sun,
of the salt smoke and the apple that falls.
Happy listening.
Good vision ».

The disc

“Freedom in the eyes”, out for BMG is the tenth album of unpublished career of the singer -songwriter, and will be available in the physical stores and online in two exclusive versions, both in limited and numbered edition; The version in vinyl format and the version in CD+Book format (the latter accompanied by a 56 -page booklet), will count in addition to the lyrics of the songs, an unpublished writing signed by the singer -songwriter and a series of photographs that tell and transport in the intimate atmosphere of the hut where the disc was recorded and produced.

Anyone who acquires the disc in physical format – CD or vinyl – will have the opportunity via Qccode to download the digital version of the album, which will be available on all streaming platforms only starting from 13 June.

Niccolò Fabi's new album consists of 9 new songs, written between Rome and Lake Caprioli of Pellizzano (TN). Always very linked to Trentino Alto Adige and its mountains, Niccolò has chosen Lake Caprioli (Località Fazzon, Val di Sole) as a place where to dress his songs and play to experiment together with the 6 travel companions who wanted to by his side for the realization of this new project: Roberto Angelini, songwriter and his twenty years of music companion; the singer -songwriter Alberto Bianco and the drummer Filippo Cornaglia, with whom he has shared the stage and has been collaborating for almost 10 years; Emma Nolde, new pearl of the Italian songwriter; Cesare Augusto Giorgini, songwriter and producer known thanks to the experience at Officina delle Arti Pierpaolo Pasolini; And Riccardo Parravicini, Sound Engineer to whom he has been accompanied for more than 15 years.

“Freedom in the eyes” is the result of a real artistic residence. An ancient way, but unusual enough these days, to think about the creation of a disc; Spending 10 days in a remote place in the mountains, in front of a frozen lake surrounded by snow, and transforming a large room, all in wood with an immense window, into a recording studio with a universe of tools with which to experiment and have fun creating and playing together.

Freedom is also a way of looking at things and directing one's existence. Paraphrasing what the motorcyclists think before entering the curve, life goes where your gaze goes ».

Alba, love happens, water that flows, no battle, Gemma's house, those who know me better than you, custodians of fire, freedom in the eyes and kind heart.
