Neil Young and Crazy Horse will be on tour in the United States from April 24 to May 23.
Neil Young and Crazy Horse hit the road for their first real tour in ten years. The tour kicks off April 24 in San Diego, California and concludes May 23 in Chicago, Illinois. Sale of tickets for subscribers to Neil Young Archives has already started. General on-sale will begin on February 16.

Neil Young has played with the Crazy Horse rhythm section of Ralph Molina (drums) and Billy Talbot (bass) since 1968. The original guitarist, Danny Whitten, died in 1972. Frank “Poncho” Sampedro played with the band 1975 until his retirement in 2018. Nils Lofgren, who briefly played with Crazy Horse in the early 1970s when they recorded an album without Young, replaced Sampedro in 2018. The band recorded three albums over the years. last four years (Colorado in 2019, Barn in 2021 and World Record in 2022), but only gave a few concerts.
Crazy Horse was joined by guitarist Micah Nelson in 2023 for two special concerts at the Roxy in Los Angeles to celebrate the iconic Los Angeles club’s 50th anniversary. The concerts included full renditions of Everybody Knows This is Nowhere (1969) and Tonights the Night (1975). On November 4, 2023, this same lineup performed a private concert for Canada Goose CEO Dani Reiss at the Rivoli in Toronto, Ontario. They interpreted Ragged Glory in its entirety that evening.
Young was completely absent from the stage from 2010 to 2022 due to Covid concerns, the longest break of his six-decade career. He resurfaced in the summer of 2023 with a solo tour that focused on forgotten songs from his extensive catalog.
The exact lineup of Crazy Horse participating in the tour Love Earth has not been revealed, but Nils Lofgren will be busy most of the time with the Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band tour. Micah Nelson will likely play in his place.
