NEGRAMARO “Free Love”, the new album comes out on November 22nd

Music news

It will be called “Free Love” and Negramaro's ninth studio album will be released on November 22nd.

Twelve tracks, eight collaborations: Aiello, Malika Ayane, Elisa, Niccolò Fabi, Tiziano Ferro, Fabri Fibra, Jovanotti, Kaleo are the guests featured on the album.

The album was recorded in Berlin in the historic Hansa Studios, which hosted U2, David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Iggy Pop, REM and other important artists in the history of world music.

All lyrics and music are by Giuliano Sangiorgi, the artistic production is entrusted to Giuliano Sangiorgi, in collaboration with Taketo Gohara, Sixpm, Andro, d.whale (Davide Simonetta) and negramaro.

THE CONCEPT

The concept of “Free love” is expressed through the cover of the album, which hosts the original work “NARCISO” by Jago, an Italian sculptor defined by The Guardian as “The new Michelangelo”. The work represents man reflected in a woman and his opposite. Just as in Jago's work, in Negramaro's album there is a perfect symmetry of feelings.
Free love claims the freedom to love oneself and others, because loving is a right. Loving without prejudice, violence and discrimination. Every person is free to be who they are, to love who they want. A way of loving that does not allow possession or abuse and that looks at diversity as wealth.

The singles have already been extracted from the album “Diamonds (with Elisa & Jovanotti)”, “Until the New Day (feat. Fabri Fibra)”, “Ricominciamo tutto” (Sanremo 2024), “Luna Piena”, number one on the radio and Earone award as the most listened to independent Italian artist.
