Morat reveals all the details of his new EP: ‘Before it dawns’

Music news

Morat has been working throughout 2023 on the publication of new songs with which he has been permanently surprising his entire audience. We saw it in Feo, in They never returned, in their first song in English: Someone I used to know… And everything had a meaning and a reason: the new EP by the Colombian group is the final result.

And finally the quartet has revealed all the details of this different project within their career that will be titled Before the Dawn. A musical adventure composed of 6 songs that will be released on December 15.

“When we put that big sun on the cover of If Yesterday Were Today, one of the first questions that came to mind was: What is going to happen when that sun sets? What happens when night comes? The answer was Before Dawn (ADQA): A journey through a night of our dreams where each song is a different dream. Like when you sleep, each dream is different from all the others, they come together without much meaning and each one feels half random,” the Colombians begin explaining through their official Instagram account.

“That’s why the songs range from rock to ballads, from Latin American acoustic to more danceable rhythms. We like that it is a night of variety, where the format of the bands is highlighted, where playing instruments and composing songs gives rise to being able to vary and “Play with our own music without limits. We love you, come dream with us for a while,” says the group.
