Miley Cyrus plays doctor in her new song with Pharrell Williams

Music news

They unveiled it during the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris last January, Pharrell Williams and Miley Cyrus officially released “Doctor (Work it Out)”. A good vibes and groovy track.

On January 16, Pharrell Williams teased, during his Louis Vuitton fashion show, a collaboration with Miley Cyrus. A choice that could echo the fall-winter collection, signed by the new artistic director of the French house, oriented western and country to which Miley Cyrus is originally linked. To accompany her male models on the catwalk, the “Happy” singer unveiled the new track “Doctor (Work it Out)” which is officially released this Friday.

Miley Cyrus lets loose

Initially planned to appear on “Bangerz” – Miley Cyrus’ hit album released in 2013, and for which Pharrell Williams notably produced “4×4” and “#GetItRigh” – “Doctor (Work it Out)” ultimately remained in the boxes for more than 10 years. If the song was leaked after the release of “Bangerz”, it is in a remastered version that it is being discovered today, less than a month after the former Disney star’s recognition at the Grammy Awards.

It is also in the continuity of his memorable performance on the stage of the 66th edition of the prestigious American musical ceremony that the clip for “Doctor (Work it Out)” is included. Same style, same energy, the singer of “Wrecking Ball” lets loose, delivering with infectious enthusiasm this track in which she improvises as both doctor and nurse. The Nashville singer has not finished embodying self-esteem and independence. And that’s good.
