The last release before the release of the posthumous album, Heavy Lifting.
The legendary Detroit rock band, known for their raw, energetic sound that defined an era, is back with a new track which promises to keep his legacy intact. Titled “Can't Be Found”this song is the last single before the release of their next album Heavy Lifting, which will be published on October 18th through EarMusic.
This album marks the band's return with their first original material in 53 years, on the track we find the collaboration of the talented Vernon Reidguitarist of Living Colour.
The unfortunate passing of the legend and founding member of the band, Wayne Kramerleft an indelible mark on this project. Kramertogether with Brad Brooksco-wrote 12 of the album's 13 songs, bringing to life a work that resonates with the rebellious essence of MC5.
“Can't Be Found” presents to Kramer on lead vocals, accompanied by the classic drummer, Dennis “Machine Gun” Thompson, who also recently passed away. The song soars with an electrifying guitar solo, taking the energy to new levels.
The launch of Heavy Lifting is scheduled for October 18, just one day before the expected induction of MC5 to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, where he will receive the Award for Musical ExcellenceIn addition, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a deluxe edition that will include unreleased live recordings from the tour.
