MATHAME will talk about themselves to the public at the SAE Institute in Milan

Music news

The brothers Matteo and Amedeo Giovanelli, aka Mathame, will be guests of a talk at the SAE Institute Milan campus on Thursday 22 February 2024, on the eve of their AV show at the Fabrique in Milan on 23 February 2024 on the occasion of Milan Fashion Week.

THE MEETING

The meeting will be moderated by Damir Ivic, journalist and guest lecturer at SAE Institute Milan, who will guide the conversation through various aspects concerning the artists’ careers: from the concepts behind their shows, through the approach to production, the relationship with new technologies and AI, up to life on tour and participation in major international festivals such as Coachella, Sziget, Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.

MATHAME

From Sicily to the stages of the most important festivals in the world, the melodic techno duo Mathame writes songs that inspire a generation of producers and gathers thousands of fans from all over the world during their lives at the most famous festivals in the world, from Coachella to Sziget , from Tomorrowland to Ultra.

Brothers Matteo and Amedeo Giovanelli’s early hits, “Skywalking” and “Never Give Up,” helped shift the world of electronics towards a new sound, while on their debut LP their vision centers on soulful melodies and precision technique.

A sonic journey that led Mathame to explore new and profound sonic frontiers, as in “Come For You”, an evocative song that develops in a continuous boil and explodes with club energy and soft orchestral touches. The rest of the album explores everything from spirituality to true love, the grandeur of human life, the isolation of man in the vast universe, the strength of hope, the power of dreams and the bond between two brothers.
