Step by step, Martín Ceballos (or just Martín, his current stage name) is burning through stages within his new musical career as a soloist. After offering us a small sample of what his solo album debut is going to offer (500 Faces, Work of Art…), the performer has confirmed the first concert within his Odiseo Tour.
The Madrid artist will perform on March 7 in Madrid at the Vesta room with Planet Events @ Live Nation. Tickets can now be purchased through the Dice FM website with a pre-sale for the first buyers that includes an exclusive price of 10 euros. The rest of the tickets for general sale will be priced at 15.
“Martín’s solo career, after the separation of his previous group DVICIO, has not stopped surprising the public. He has a very varied Latin pop, as demonstrated by Obra de arte, Si te he ver, Dominicana and 500 faceswhich was his debut single, which encompasses the essence of the sound of what will be his first album, which will be released this year” can be read in the press release that confirms his first performance as a soloist away from his previous formation.
To warm up his engines for this presentation, Martín has released his most recent single, the fifth, under the title of Vendesueños, “an energetic song where he mixes pop folklore with the presence of guitars, bass, viola and percussion by bass drum legüero , fruit of the influence of his Argentine roots”.
The artist claims to be “too excited” about the news that will be presented in 2024, in which it seems that his first studio album as a soloist will be released. And taking a look at the name of the tour it seems clear that we already have a winning title.
His most recent business card is Vendesueños, a song in which he assures that “during our lives we meet all kinds of people, when we believe that we are safe with them is when we give ourselves and open ourselves up. And that is when “We become vulnerable and they can help us or they can use it to hurt us. That damage, once healed, I transformed into this song.”
Some steps that he is fulfilling and that he already told us during our interview in WECB with him: “Every two months or so I will release a song. I already have another four more prepared and what I want is to have 6-7 songs out to be able to turn the next year. The selection has already been made, the video clips are being recorded and by February or so the idea is to have those 6-7 songs. What I like the most and what fulfills me as an artist is defending them on stage.
