Fishtalk – Wednesday October 16 (12:30 p.m./1:00 p.m. – FGO Barbara)

With a first intimate EP recorded between the four walls of an apartment, released in 2021, this ambitious group of experimental noise and hybrid punk rock, recently released its second project, even more accomplished, more significantly focused on personal emancipation and catharsis in a world in meltdown. OUT, their new EP, is a pure cry from the heart, positioned between Gilla Band and the Psychotic Monks – without using too many references – and now opens the doors of the scene even wider for them. Fishtalk notably found itself on the bill at the Beauregard festival this summer (we were there!) and this fall… heading to the 18th arrondissement of Paris, at MaMA! No album in sight yet but there is no doubt that Fishtalk will be able to present their already well-established (small) repertoire, up to the distinguished “Men Are Dead”, perhaps their most electric, most impactful piece. Enough to make the walls of FGO Barbara shake, just before leaving for lunch!

Whisper – Wednesday October 16 (11:15 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. – Les Trois Baudets)

To say that this author, composer, performer and musician enchanted us with her first EP entitled Chaos would be an understatement. This chamber folk, almost pop and fundamentally nocturnal, is not to be missed.

Johnny Mafia – Thursday October 17 (11:20 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. – La Machine du Moulin Rouge)

Their latest album, 2024: Year of the Dragon, shook up the French rock scene this year: we will be happy to find these troublemakers on stage, their favorite place!

Soft Loft – Thursday October 17 (8:20 p.m.-9:00 p.m. – La Machine du Moulin Rouge)

The project, led by Jorina Stamm and her four friends, released the excellent The Party and the Mess this year and we have no doubt about their ability to transcribe this folk/rock momentum with catchy melodies.

Antenn.e – Friday October 18 (1:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. – La Boule Noire)

The trio, symbols of this new scene called “bright punk”, have succeeded in reshaping rock and metal, two well-established genres, in their own way, by instilling a burst of youth and daring. The first album, Tabouret, has just been released and we can't wait to discover it on stage!

Ronnie – Friday October 18 (4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Le Bar à Bulles)

Ronnie's delicate voice brilliantly serves his folk songs dedicated to intimacy and contemplation: a perfect proposition for this showcase planned at MaMA, a good start to the adventure.
