LIVE REPORT: MaMA Music & Convention

Music news

Fifteenth successful edition for the MaMA Music & Convention festival, located at the foot of the Butte Montmartre!

MaMA Music & Convention, the annual meeting of music industry professionals took place as planned, from October 16 to 18, notably along Boulevard Barbès, from the Trianon to La Machine du Moulin Rouge, via La Boule Noire to Place de Clichy, the FGO Barbara and much more… In a few figures, this fifteenth edition brought together nearly 6,800 professionals, welcomed 2,270 structures and no less than 4,800 public passes were issued. This year, current themes such as AI, monetization strategies, ecological issues in music, and the evolution of live music were addressed, through conferences including one “curated” by WECB France.

Of course, many concerts took place as planned in partner venues; For our part, we particularly appreciated the adventurous rock/folk show of Soft Loft, the urban and electric pop of Nerlov or the stage elegance of Saint DX. The next day, the Bibi Club charmed the Trois Baudets, at the same time as the group Please, who closed a colorful evening at La Cigale, after the singer Rori (to follow closely) and the Astral Bakers. Like every year, the MaMA accentuates its desire for inclusiveness in its line up – we note the presence of 56% women. The bet was successful and we will meet on October 15, 16 and 17, 2025 for the next edition, which we will support, as always!
