Thai star Lisa, member of BLACKPINK, maintains a special link with France, as evidenced in particular by her recent confidences or her latest very Parisian music video.
How can we get past the phenomenon? Today, BLACKPINK are true ambassadors of Korean culture. Like the big American stars, the girl group is known worldwide and is making K-pop shine outside the borders of South Korea. For example, last year, the group brought together more than 40,000 fans at the Stade de France.
Since then, the four stars have multiplied their expressions of affection towards France, notably Lisa. After the group’s world tour, the young woman came to stay in France, notably participating in the show of a famous Parisian cabaret.
Very recently, the Thai star delivered some revelations to ELLE Taiwan and in particular his desire to learn the language of Molière. Lisa explained that she wanted to spend more time with her family and meditate, and most importantly: “learn a language, particularly French”. The reason ? Being able to talk with your nephew. “Actually, the main reason why I want to learn French is that my nephew doesn’t speak Thai and almost only speaks French, so if I want to talk to my nephew, I have to learn French,” she revealed.

Crazy Horse, Fashion Week and Parisian music video
“A long-time fan of Crazy Horse and its unique style, Lisa joined the show and the very particular world of cabaret, becoming a “Crazy Girl” herself. It is with these words that the famous Parisian cabaret commented on the singer’s exceptional show given from September 28 to 30. An investment which marks his attachment to this sexy Parisian spectacle. Lisa is also invested during Fashion Week, honoring the fashion shows of French luxury brands with her presence.
Last December, the rapper once again shared her attachment to the City of Lights with her cover of the title “My Only Wish (This Year)” by Britney Spears, present on the “Platinum Christmas” compilation from 2000. In the clip, she adopts all the codes of the perfect Parisian, like the “Emily in Paris” series.
A few days later, the 26-year-old Thai woman was seen ringside at the Parisian New Year. On Instagram, the singer did not fail to share several photos of the event to her community of some 10 million subscribers.
Committed to a good cause
Today, Lisa is committed to the Yellow Pieces by participating, for the second time, in the exceptional Gala which brings together, on Friday January 26, an impressive line-up of French and international stars. A concert-event broadcast on France 2, Saturday January 27, at 8:40 p.m.
