Lip Critic premieres “Milky Max” and announces album

The third single arrives on the way to Hex Dealer, Lip Critic’s debut album. Besides, “Milky Max”, includes the promotion of a group-themed video game.

Lip Critic It is a musical project that has its bases in the scene underground New Yorker. The digital-hardcore group is made up of vocalist Bret Kaserthe percussionists Danny Eberle and Ilan Natter and the producer/sampler Danny Eberle. The group’s long-awaited debut album will be titled Hex Dealer and will be available on May 17 via PARTISAN.

Since its emergence in 2018, Lip Critic has accompanied musical acts such as Idles, Screaming Females and Geesee in different concerts where they presented their eclectic sound experiment to various audiences around the world. The group’s unconventional instrumentalization is a mix of electronic sounds and a modernist pop structure that come together through the pulsating force of dry percussion from punk and hardcore.. So, Hex Dealer aims to be an authentic augmented reality proposal that shows the interaction between the real and the virtual through an exercise in sound combinations by Lip Critic.

The encompassing creative restlessness of Lip Critic for now it gives us “Milky Max”a track which is found at the intersection between the isolation of digital hyperconsumption and the body subjected to this acceleration. The voice of Kaser He commands the changing rhythms of the song through the attitude of a cult leader who refuses to stop listening and longs to be heard. The single is accompanied by a video clip that shows images of a thematic video game that was designed and programmed by Jesse Natter –brother of the group’s drummer–; The video game is now available for you to enjoy.
