Linkin Park sparked uncertainty with a countdown

Music news

The band is lighting up the internet with a mysterious and unfinished timer. Fans are speculating about a new vocalist and a possible tour in 2025.

Linkin Park has done it again with a countdown that left more than a few people scratching their heads. This weekend, the band launched a mysterious clock on their website web and social networks that started at 100 hours, ending exactly at 12:15 H today, August 28. As expected, the theories began to fly. A new album? A reunion tour? There were even those who thought that a new vocalist would join.

But when the time came, the countdown seemed to have a complete meltdown. For a few seconds, the on-screen clock froze and then started all over again. Clearly baffled fans took to social media to vent their frustration, with many coming to the conclusion that perhaps they had just been the victims of a major trolling by the band after all.

However, there is something more behind this apparent chaos. Although the band has not given an official explanation, some believe that this strange outcome could be part of a larger strategy. After all, the band has always been adept at keeping their fans on the edge of their seats. So, as the countdown continues, we can only wait and see what surprise this legendary band has in store for us. The excitement continues.

The advance appears in a period in which Linkin Park has been commemorating his career, launching special editions such as Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000 – 2023) and the box set of the 20th anniversary of MeteoraMeanwhile, the live count continues to build anticipation. You can follow it here.
