Linkin Park in K-Drama mode in the music video for “Over Each Other”

Music news

The legendary group has just unveiled its brand new single “Over Each Other”, accompanied by a music video made in South Korea by one of its members.

Seven years after the death of its singer Chester Bennington in 2017, Linkin Park created a surprise this summer by announcing a world tour, already sold out. A new beginning for the Californian rock group which welcomes singer Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain.

After “The Emptiness Machine” and “Heavy Is The Crown”, two singles released in September, Linkin Park unveiled “Over Each Other” on October 24. A new extract from his eighth studio album “From Zero”, long awaited by his early fans.

This emotional title, which highlights the voice of singer Emily Armstrong, did not leave listeners indifferent. “This track is softer but still powerful, with meaningful lyrics and a deep message. And it's Emily's song, hers alone. I'm blown away by her voice, once again!“, writes a user on YouTube.

A music video inspired by K-Dramas

Unveiled the same day, the video for “Over Each Other” was directed by Joe Hahn, the DJ and creative director of Linkin Park. He had already directed emblematic clips such as that of “What I've Done“. The filming took place in South Korea, and more precisely in Seoul, where the group performed on September 28.

A few days after our concert in Seoul, Emily Armstrong and I stayed in town to shoot our next music videoexplains Joe Hahn in an Instagram post. It was a dream of mine to do a project in Korea one day, and it happened! We made it look like a K-drama. As always, Emily delivered.“The visual indeed immerses the viewer in a dramatic scenario with a cinematic feel.

Parisian fans of the group will have the pleasure of attending an exceptional show at La Défense Arena on November 3. A date that was sold out in a few hours. And a few days later, on November 15, the band will unveil their brand new album “From Zero”.
