Lil Nas

Music news

Lil Nas X only makes blockbusters with his music videos. The American rapper goes all out in each of his music videos and creates his own universe, where heaven and hell are connected by a pole dance pole. This is how we saw it in Montero or in Industry Baby. Now, three years later, the artist returns in style with J Christ. A song that is coming with a bang and that is already giving a lot of talk. Not only for its lyrics, but also for the video clip.

The artist already revealed that J Christ was a comeback, a kind of musical resurrection like the “man who had the greatest comeback of all time, Jesus.” No sooner said than done! Not only has he returned in style, but he has portrayed some of the most well-known moments of the Bible in his video. And it was Lil Nas X himself who wrote and directed this visual piece. A project that is full of messages.

In fact, just at the beginning, we can see the faces of some of the most famous people in the world ascending to heaven: from Barack Obama to Mariah Carey, passing through Oprah. Obviously they are imitators, but the message is already sending: we all end up dying.

But that’s just the beginning of the video. The first image we have of Lil Nas X is as if he were a saint who walks like a pop star through the sky, even greeting Michael Jackson. We also see him competing with a demon in a kind of ring where he ends up being the cheerleader, posing at the Met Gala and even as Moses opening the waters.

The video is truly crazy that seems taken directly from a dream world: that of Lil Nas X. Furthermore, at the end of the video, Lil Nas One that refers to new beginnings: “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature (new creation); old things have passed away, now they have become new.”

And Lil Nas gays). Without a doubt, Lil Nas X knows how to leave us speechless.

J Christ lyrics

Bust down chain now, I was thirty bands up

Wrist, that’s my bust down, thirty each

Walk up in the club, pop my shit like it was Doublemint

Lookin’ for a team, we only to settle with it’s settlements

Uh uh uh

Let ’em slide, yeah

That shit wasn’t quiet, yeah

Damn, I’ma ride, yeah

I’m finna take it high, yeah, okay

Let ’em slide, yeah

That shit wasn’t quiet, yeah

Tell ’em come outside

Baby, we ain’t tryna hide

Know what I’m on, I’m on, up (?)

You know when I’m back, it’s all for taking

You know that I’m ready for everything

You know how I play, it’s all for keeps

Uh-uh

Is he up to something? Only II know

Is he ’bout to hit ’em with the high-high note?

Is he ’bout to give ’em somethin’ vi-iral?

Is he ’bout to hit ’em with the high-high note?

Which way do we go? Hmm, this way

Took ’em to the telly and I told ’em it’s a dizzy

Turn up, baby, we gon’ have to check out at like six/eight

Really it’s at (?), but your Uber on the wizzay

Back-back-back up out the gravesite

Bitch I’m back like J. Christ

I’m finna get the gays hype

I’m finna take it yay high

Back up out the gravesite

Bitch I’m back like J. Christ

I’m finna take your, uh, uh

I’m finna take it yay high

Know what I’m on, I’m on, up (?)

You know when I’m back, it’s all for taking

You know that I’m ready for everything

You know how I play, it’s all for keeps

Uh-uh

Is he up to something? Only II know

Is he ’bout to hit ’em with the high-high note?

Is he ’bout to give ’em somethin’ vi-iral?

Is he ’bout to hit ’em with the high-high note?

Is he up to something? Only II know

Is he ’bout to hit ’em with the high-high note?

Is he ’bout to give ’em somethin’ vi-iral?

Is he ’bout to hit ’em with the high-high note?

Oh oh oh

I’m in my prime

(Bitch, I’m back like J. Christ)

Let’s go-go-go

Let’s take ’em on a high

(Yeah, yeah)

Is he ’bout to hit ’em with the high-high note?
