Lil Durk faces life in prison

Mr. Banks is accused of orchestrating a cold-blooded murder that resulted in the death of a rival's family member,” Attorney Martin Estrada said regarding Lil Durk and the 2022 shooting that killed Quando Rondo's cousin. And he added “the shooting occurred in broad daylight, at a gas station at a busy intersection, endangering many other people in the area. Violent crimes of this type are devastating to our community and we will not tolerate those who carry out such acts of callous violence”.

In fact, two more have been added to the charges against Lil Durk, who is currently detained at the Miami Federal Detention Center awaiting extradition to Los Angeles: criminal conspiracy and possession and use of firearms and a machine gun and possession of such weapons in furtherance of a violent crime resulting in death.

If Lil Durk were to be convicted on all charges, he would face the maximum statutory sentence of federal prison, which is life in prison.
