VIDEO

In the hands of YouNuts!, “100 MESSAGGI” now becomes a small jewel of visual art, which amplifies the meaning of the song and immerses the viewer in the painful beauty of a lost love. Intense and evocative, the video – opened by the evocative image of an eye spying through a lock – has a baroque villa as its set, where a kaleidoscope of contrasting emotions is staged: the decadent beauty of the villa and the dancing couples clash and blends with the violence and suffering symbolized by the torn clothes, the wounds on the bodies of the guests and the snake that moves menacingly in his terrarium.

Lazza, at the center of the video, sings about his suffering with intensity: his figure alternates with that of a mysterious woman who, retracing his same steps, always appears only from behind, only to then reveal herself in the final frames without a face, a representation of the unfillable void left by the loved one.

THE TEXT

The bars of 100 MESSAGGI, which bear the signature of LAZZA’s unmistakable pen, unfold intensely and full of emotional tension, intertwining with a base where the piano reigns supreme in the intro: a delicate beginning which then explodes into an emotional refrain, pierced by powerful bass to amplify the vivid portrait of the ups and downs that accompany the end of a relationship.

100 MESSAGGI marks a new great stage in LAZZA’s artistic journey, confirming once again his unparalleled ability to combine captivating sounds with introspective lyrics and a strong emotional impact, leaving hope for the best for the new musical project on the horizon.

Please don’t start
You know it’s already hard for me to believe how much you hurt me
But if you had asked me, I would have climbed Everest with my bare hands
Even though I hate the cold and even suffer from vertigo, I don’t care
When you lie, I believe you
I know there are more than a thousand things about me that you couldn’t tolerate
Talking to you is like trying to catch the wind with your hands
If I had a problem, you told me to talk to someone who knows about it
I watched everything fall apart, like it was September 11th
Tell me one more lie, then a lie, then the truth, ah
It was all madness, but you can’t do madness for you, ah
I was no longer at home, not even at home, just a thousand troubles
I think of David and Goliath, I will be Goliath, you will kill me
And I would have let you do it, because I was out of my mind
Tell me, when you get lost, what’s the point of partying?
I smoke these flowers of evil, all I have left
Now that I feel helpless, like a worm at the bottom of Mezcal
Forget that you know me, now it’s late even if you cry
There’s no point in worrying me, sending me a hundred messages
To which I won’t answer, oh, I can’t do it anymore
I have become everything I hated, and I assure you I don’t like it
Tell me if you notice, we’ve grown up
Even if I have ten watches, I won’t get the years back
Sorry I won’t be back, oh, you don’t know how sorry I am
That we went to war, but we didn’t know how to make peace
Sad when I thought about it
We missed everything, even an anniversary date
They wrote: “He’s engaged”, just because I was financing
I’d give you my blood to drink, because that’s all I have left now
Believe me, it seems impossible to accept that I have now said to you: “Hello”
I’m in a two-room apartment that since I kicked you out looks like a penthouse
Like double the size, but without the light, as if there was a blackout
I’m not sentimental, sometimes you opened the door and I didn’t even hear you come in
I wanted you at all costs, but we were opposites, just like a pole
Being together is the art of solving problems that I don’t have alone
I swear, I don’t know who I am anymore, this all bothers me
‘This world on a human scale makes me feel punished
Forget that you know me, now it’s late even if you cry
There’s no point in worrying me, sending me a hundred messages
To which I won’t answer, oh, I can’t do it anymore
I have become everything I hated, and I assure you I don’t like it
Tell me if you notice, we’ve grown up
Even if I have ten watches, I won’t get the years back
Sorry I won’t be back, oh, you don’t know how sorry I am
That we went to war, but we didn’t know how to make peace
