Laura Pausini, ‘Person of the Year’ 2023

Although the previous categories represent great recognition for the nominated artists, there is an award that is, without a doubt, one of the most commemorative and that is Person of the Year, which this year went to the great Laura Pausini. The ceremony was held at the FIBES in Seville.

“I am very disciplined and at the same time I am a daughter, a woman and a mother. My world, work, which in the end is my entire life, is very different from my person, which is very normal and our work is very complicated, very unusual. So that balance is sometimes difficult for me. But as soon as I have a concert, I always have that balance. On tour I recharge myself. If I don’t also sing in Spanish I’m not complete, I’m fake, that’s why I never “I will abandon singing in Spanish. I have spoken many languages, but above all I have spoken in Spanish and I have even dreamed in Spanish, which is the moment in which I realized that finally that was also not my second language, but my other language.” Laura Pausini concluded in her speech.
