KINGS OF LEON: the new single “Mustang” is released and the new album in May (Watch the video)

Music news

Mustang is the title of the song that sees the return of Kings Of Leon. The song anticipates the release of the new album – the ninth studio album – entitled “Can We Please Have Fun”, available from May 10th.

“Can We Please Have Fun”, as the title suggests, is the manifesto of one of the greatest rock bands of our time. A band that goes wild, tries new things and also has fun. Recorded at Nashville’s Dark Horse studio and produced alongside new collaborator Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Florence + the Machine), the album shows a new side of KINGS OF LEON.

In the new recording project, the band returns to its gritty origins and, at the same time, ventures into new directions. It’s the sound of a band cohesive in both vision and purpose, free from all expectations, and the album that KINGS OF LEON always wanted to make. “It was the most fun record I’ve ever been a part of,” says Caleb.

KINGS OF LEON are gearing up for a monumental year and are ready to take on the world.

When you’re a band, you have a bond like no other… and when you’re a family, you have a bond like no other,” says Caleb. “We are both. I thought: if we put all our energies together, who can stop us? Who can stop us if not us?”.
