The album, produced by Kid Harpoon and the group’s first under its new deal with Capitol Records, will be released on May 10. Recorded at Dark Horse Studio in Nashville, the album is billed as one that Kings of Leon have wanted to make for a long time.

It’s the most enjoyable album I’ve ever been a part of.”, said Caleb Followill in a press release. “ It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerableadded Nathan Followill. I love it when a rock band isn’t embarrassed to admit that every song doesn’t need to be on 11. »

Mustang » is the first new music from Kings of Leon since their 2021 album, When You See Yourself. This album, produced by Markus Dravs, was their eighth full-length album and their first new album after a five-year hiatus.
