Kings of Leon announce album and release “Mustang”

The indie rock group’s new album is titled, Can We Please Have Fun. Kings of Leon He will debut his new material in Mexico.

The return of Kings of Leon begins to take shape with the promotion of his ninth studio album, Can We Please Have Fun. The group led by Caleb Followill shared “Mustang”, the video of the first single that inaugurates a new musical stage and that presents us with the first preview of a different sound by the band.

“Mustang” it’s a track that is built from the solid foundations of a riff of blues and contrasts with the simplicity and lightness of the lyrics that we hear from the voice of Caleb Followill. The new sound experiment of Kings of Leon presents a song that has fun with itself and aims to be shared in the community.

It was the most enjoyable album I’ve ever been a part of… It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable,” Caleb and Nathan Followill mention about the creative process of Can We Please Have Fun.

To share your musical act, Kings of Leon will embark on a tour that will carry the vibes of Can We Please Have Fun around the world and fortunately it will start within the festival Live latino in Mexico this March 16 and 17.

The group’s new album is the first in their career to be released under the record label Capitol Records and was the result of a creative work mediated by the producer Kid Harpoon –recognized for his collaboration with Harry Styles–. Can We Please Have Fun It will be available starting next May 10.
