Just like “Panic Attack” and “Trial by Fire”, “Crown of Horns” comes fromInvincible Shield, the upcoming album from the British heavy metal legends. This is their first in six years, the latest being Firepower. The creative process is still overseen by guitarist Glen Tipton, who has since stepped down due to Parkinson’s disease, vocalist Rob Halford and guitarist Richie Faulkner, who has been on the job since 2011.

A European tour will allow the legends to defend Invincible Shield. The latter includes two French dates, which will be held on April 5 at the Halle Tony Garnier (Lyon) and on the 8th at the Zénith in Paris. The British heavy metal band Saxon will be there to accompany them. Judas Priest will also be present at the Heavy Weekend festival in Nancy on June 23. The latest arrivals of Judas Priest in France date back to 2022. They took place at Hellfest and at the Ancient Theater in Vienna in 2022. More recently, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

Interviewed by WECB in 2020, singer Rob Halford returned to his vision of success: “I never measured success by the number of albums sold or the number of awards hanging on the walls. When these awards – if you want to call them that – arrive, it’s a great reaffirmation that success is self-evident. For me, success is doing a great song, a good concert. » Find this interview in our special metal special series.
