Twenty-three years after her victory in 2002, Jenifer made an unexpected return to the “Star Academy” castle. On Tuesday, the first winner of the program appeared in Dammarie-les-Lys, greeted by the surprised laughter of Marguerite. Then, the “Juke Box Tour” star froze in the lobby, overcome with emotion. “Ah, that feels so weird!”she confided to the students, before realizing with nostalgia that the time had passed: “It's been a long time. You weren't born, I think…”
She remembered her exit from the castle on January 12, 2002 and underlined, not without emotion, the only return she had made twenty years ago. “The staircase is always the same”she added. For their part, the students shared their feelings. “I’m shocked”said one of the candidates, while another admitted: “We didn’t expect it at all.”

Valuable advice for academics
After this surprise, Jenifer took the time to share some advice with the students. She alerted them to the dangers of notoriety: “It was a whirlwind that can hurt, you have to stay focused on the essentials.” Looking back on the difficult times in her career, she spoke of the harassment she suffered and her fears as a young mother.
However, she testified to her resilience, recalling that her passion for music had helped her overcome these challenges.
