Jay-Z hasn’t released a record since 2017. He recently stated that if he were to release a new project, it would have to be something significant. These days, however, rumors are circulating of a possible return to music by Jay, who could release a new album this year. If true, it would come 7 years after 4:44.

What made the fuse light and hope for a return of Jay-Z is a content published on Sunday (January 28) by director Hidj. In his IG stories Hidj hq let his followers know that he is working on a new production and that the protagonist is Jay-Z himself.

The director shared a screenshot of a conversation in which he announced that he was involved in a shooting with Jay-Z and a license plate reading “JAY Z – 2024 ALBUM”.

Hidj certainly didn’t spoil anything that wasn’t first approved by Jay-Z, but the

Roc Nation made it known on X (formerly Twitter) that they are not aware of a new Jay-Z album.
