Music news

After the euphoria of the night, and the after-party in which they gave their all, the finalists spoke this Tuesday, February 20, with the press to take stock of their time on the program and tell us how they feel.

Naiara has been as natural as always and has faced her challenge with solvency. first interview after leaving the academy, despite still being in a cloud: “I’m very shocked. It’s very strong. I have a full feeling inside me right now. I’m super happy, super proud of everything. And what can I tell you, winning OT doesn’t happen every day (laughs) I’m very happy “, he expressed, as soon as he met the media.

She is very satisfied with how she has shown herself and has confessed: “I am very happy with who I am, what I represent. I am a super hard-working girl, I have been working for many years, I became independent at the age of 17 and since then “I have worked a lot. What will Naiara spend the 100,000 euros of the prize on?

We talked about how he handles a victory, but How do you manage that you have 100,000 euros in your bank account? Naiara laughs: “The money thing It’s not something that’s in my head. Money doesn’t have a very strong value for me. Money comes and goes. I am left with the pride of having won and not the prize. I stay with the experience and with the colleagues. Obviously things come with my car (laughs), but I want to continue training, I want to learn to play the piano, I want to learn to compose better, to nourish myself, to train. I feel that I am at a very ambitious point on a creative level, where I have the focus, what I want to be, what I want to show people about me… I feel very hungry for this,” she expresses.

What will Naiara be like as an artist?

We have seen Naiara with tremendous versatility, but what will she be like as an artist once she is outside? “Yes, I want to go for an urban sound. If we look at the musical panorama, not everyone focuses on something and it doesn’t come out from there. I want to have a repertoire of music in which you can feel identified in many aspects: that you have a ballad , a song to make you break out dancing in the disco, but I think I have found the point that I want to pursue, I want to be urban but melodic, that always highlights my voice, my presencethe power that I want to transmit to the people”.

Aesthetics and Freedom

The image will also be key for her: “For me it is very very important. It is the first thing you see of someone and I have tried to take maximum care of my image in there, not because they are seeing me, but because I love it. Me in my day Every day, I get up, I put on my makeup. And now I choose my outfit, and with what I’ve worn I feel empowered to face the day,” she tells us.

When asked if you believe that the word chonismo has been resignifiedreply: I still don’t know what’s happening outside. I haven’t had time to look at anything. I don’t know what’s happening with the chonismo thing, but long live the chonis, long live the posh, long live everything. I what I want to convey to everyone that I am a free person, without prejudices, that what I want to be I am, that if I want to wear eyeliner up to my eyebrows I will do it and I don’t care what they tell me. I want to convey that: that everyone be what they want, wear what they want, love who they want and do whatever they want, that there is only one life,” he says.

First contact with your family

Naiara confesses that the first contact she has had with her family has been with her grandmother and her mother: “They are my two references in life. My grandmother always tells me that her dream was to be a singer, to be an actress and that now I am fulfilling her dream.” I dream for her, so it’s really a pride for me.” What would a song with your grandmother be like? And she, amused, responds: “Can you imagine? A reggaeton with my grandmother” (laughs).

The orchestra: your school before OT

“For me the orchestra has been everything. That is where I have grown, thanks to the fact that I have had a wonderful boss who has been like my father, and has taught me to sing better, to perform. He has helped me evolve artistically, to let go, to be in contact with the public, they are like mini concerts too, which is sometimes more difficult because here (in reference to OT) people are always dedicated. I have sung in towns where people walk past your face, finish singing and don’t applaud you, for example. On that side, it is more complicated because here people love you, they are waiting to see you, you receive affection,” noted the young singer.

Naiara’s pending account with OT

We asked her if she wanted to sing a song and she said yes: “I asked for Madrid City, and of course (laughs). But in general I have had a fairly varied repertoire. I have done everything.” She also asked if she has reached being aware that I was on a reality television show: “In the end you reach a point where you know that they are recording you, obviously, whoever says they are not is lying, but there comes a point where you no longer care. At first it’s like, they’re recording me, I can’t blow a snot out calmly, then you don’t care and you blow it out calmly.”

There was a turning point for many OT participants and it was the mini break they took to celebrate Christmas with their family. There, there were those who, upon returning to the academy, saw things from outside: “Not for me,” explains Naiara. “I took my cell phone with me, but I didn’t take it to see anything and I didn’t want anything to influence me.”

Can’t a woman and a man be friends? I have found enormous support in Lucas and if he were a girl they wouldn’t say anything anyway.

— Naiara

Lucas, your great support

Lucas and Naiara have been judged a lot for their friendship, but did that Christmas outing affect you in any way? “It didn’t affect me, my friends did tell me about the movement that was going on between him and me outside, but damn, can’t a woman and a man be friends? For me, Lucas is my brother, he is my unconditional love, I have found enormous support in him and if it were the same as a girl they would not say anything,” says the singer. Regarding whether they have entered networks and seen something from outside now that they have gone out, she responds: “Yes, we have been seeing a little memes. I have seen one of a motorcycle doing a wheelie that says: Naiara going to Bershka with the 100,000 euros. “I loved that one,” she says, amused.

The future is already happening and it looks promising. What is Naiara going to do from now on? What are your upcoming plans? What I know is going to happen is that I want to keep working. And I already have my focus on what I want to do. She knows that she is going to have to fight hard, but she is very clear about it and she is very practical: “I know what I want to be, although obviously I’m going to let myself be advised by people who know more than me. I come from home, practically, so I’m going to let myself be guided and advised.”
