Interview – FAST ANIMALS AND SLOW KIDS a collision of orchestral suggestions

Interviews

“FAST ANIMALS AND SLOW KIDS – Live with orchestra” is a little jewel that FASK wanted to give as a gift to close this 2023.

A double live album that sees the thirty elements of the Arcangelo Corelli Orchestra directed by Maestro Carmelo Emanuele Patti alongside the Perugia band for this special occasion.

A record that represents a point of arrival in the exploration of new orchestral sounds for the songs that have marked the band’s fifteen-year history: after the success of the theater tour last spring, accompanied by a small six-piece chamber orchestra , FAST ANIMALS AND SLOW KIDS wanted to immerse themselves even more in the unique atmospheres of an orchestra with two unrepeatable concerts in the month of July accompanied by the La Corelli Orchestra directed by Maestro Carmelo Emanuele Patti who took care of the arrangements.

In March 2023 FASK will arrive for the first time in the most important Italian theaters with “Una notte con: FAST ANIMALS AND SLOW KIDS – Concerto in 4 acts for small chamber orchestra” a tour which sees at their side a small chamber orchestra of six elements. Strengthened by the success of this new experience, in the month of July FASK will perform at the Ravenna Festival and at the Mittelfest in Cividale del Friuli for two unique concerts accompanied by the thirty elements of the La Corelli Orchestra directed by Maestro Carmelo Emanuele Patti.

THE CONCERT

The suggestions of the concert last July 22nd at the Ravenna Festival are thus forever imprinted in the album “FAST ANIMALS AND SLOW KIDS – Live with orchestra”.

Playing the songs that have marked our history together with a thirty-piece orchestra was one of the most stimulating and satisfying experiences of our career” say FAST ANIMALS AND SLOW KIDS

The idea that this collision between two worlds can live forever within our first live album makes us feel the same satisfaction and euphoria that we felt when we got off the stage after the concert had just finished.”
