Howlin’ Jaws: new Parisian date

Music news

Continuing its rise, the Parisian rock trio Howlin’ Jaws will be present at Trabendo on May 4, 2024.

Howlin’ Jaws will see you on May 4, 2024 at Trabendo, in Paris. Places are available via the organizer’s website.

This concert follows the one given at La Maroquinerie (Paris) at the beginning of November, with After Geography as the first part. Fully sold out, this date was an opportunity to appreciate the raw and communicative energy of the trio. WECB tells you everything in Hebdo n°138.

The trio will continue to promote their new studio album, Half Asleep Half Awake, released on September 29. It includes the single “Mirror Mirror”. About the latter, guitarist Lucas Humbert explains in an editorial interview: “It’s one of the last songs we wrote for the album. It synthesized the sound we wanted to highlight. Our sound remains the same in its essence, but there is still a change of color compared to our first album. Our biggest step forward is especially felt here, hence this choice. »

Varied and direct, this second studio album shows an ambitious group eager to evolve its formula. However, they do not forget their rock ‘n’ roll base and maintain their concise and effective writing.

A formula that takes on its full meaning on stage, as the group will show during its next appearance at Trabendo, on May 4, 2024.
