Noise-rock band HEALTH takes Deftones’ original sound further by reinterpreting the alternative metal classic.

The importance of the influence of the Californian band is undeniable. Deftones has had in the alternative music scene since its appearance in the 90s, mainly through the combination of styles between rhythms associated with metal mixed with elements of shoegaze. This distinctive mark has caused recent fascination in the band HEALTHwho has shared his own interpretation of the track – originally part of the legendary album Around the Fur“Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)”.

HEALTH, a group also from California, is a band whose sound is associated with industrial and noise-rock expressions very close to the electronic environment. Last December they released their most recent album Rat Wars and their new cover of “Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)” It arrives to accompany the physical release of this latest material as well as their next tour of the United States next March.

The cover is a single that is part of the series Spotify Singles, compound tracks exclusive for the platform streaming.
