Guè launches its tequila TEQUIERO TEQUILA
Love for discovery and travel, curiosity, attention to detail, search for authenticity for an original and exclusive taste experience: these are the main ingredients that lie behind TEQUILA TEQUILAthe premium 100% Agave distillate created by Gué and by Driss El Faria (a 32-year-old entrepreneur already known for the creation and development of products in the beverage sector), which debuts on the market starting from Italy and then being launched throughout the world.
Since the beginning of his career, like many colleagues from overseas, Gué has combined his artistic career with an entrepreneurial one: he has launched streetwear brands, in addition to having started several businesses. Always a great admirer and expert of tequila (born in the 16th century in Mexico, but already known by the Aztec people), he wanted to share his passion with his fans by creating a 100% agave reposado distillate, that is, aged for 9 months in oak barrels. Nothing has been left to chance: TEQUIERO Tequila is born and produced in Mexico from a small family-run distillery located in the highlands of Jalisco, a region where tequila has been distilled for centuries; more precisely, in the small town of Los Altos. Here, a prized variety of blue agave is grown, where each plant takes 8 years to reach full maturity. The agaves, carefully harvested by specialized jimadors, are slowly steamed, as is traditional.
The production is inspired by thecraftsmanship of the origins: The natural fermentation process lasts 36 to 40 hours, before being left to rest in oak barrels for 36 weeks and undergoing a triple distillation that gives TEQUIERO TEQUILA its distinctive smooth taste. The resulting flavor has a light bitter touch, with notes of cooked agave, ripe fruit, oak, red apple, vanilla and caramel.
TEQUIERO TEQUILA stands out for its quality, authenticity and innovation. In addition – an absolute first in the sector – a non-alcoholic premix can will be launched in parallel, created with the ingredients of the iconic Paloma cocktail, the most drunk by Mexicans: grapefruit soda, lime and salt, to create your own Paloma in total autonomy and simplicity, mixing the contents of the can with the original TEQUIERO TEQUILA.
