TOKYO is the new single from GAIA. A song full of contaminations and with an overwhelming sound that transmits a highly current message: in a world that pushes us to close ourselves in a cage of limits and impositions, TOKYO it’s an invitation to let go, a one-way ticket to freedom.
Through this new single, written by GAIA herself with Drast, who also takes care of its production together with Golden Years, the singer-songwriter recounts an interaction between two people that soon turns into an unfiltered dialogue that underlines the importance of enjoying every single moment.
Despite disappointments and obstacles, which often make us suspicious and change who we really are, it is important to let that part of oneself shine that remains curious, light-hearted, that looks at life with always new and surprised eyes. “TOKYO” is a song written to revive that part of the soul that gives itself to life in total freedom, trying to fight insecurities without hiding.
“TOKYO” comes after the single “Ecstasy”, the second album of unreleased songs “ALMA” which contains all his musical souls and worlds, and after the success of the singles Chega, double platinum, Coco Chanel, Cuore amaro and Boca feat. Once again, GAIA proves that she is a 360-degree artist: she puts herself on the line in the world of cinema by covering the role of voice actress in “Wish”, the new Walt Disney Animation Studios Christmas feature film, in theaters starting from December 21st . Alongside other characters and actors such as Amadeus and Michele Riondino, the singer-songwriter lent her voice to the brilliant dreamer Asha.
