Frankie and the Witch Fingers release “Bonehead”

Music news

A track with explosive and raw energy.

Frankie and the Witch Fingers is back with “Bonehead”her first single since the release of her acclaimed album Data Doom in 2022. This new song, released under the labels Greenway Records and Reverberation Appreciation Societyshowcases the group's signature power with a dense, distorted sound that captures the energy of their live performances.

The song starts with a groove deep and quickly transforms into an explosion of harmonized guitars and intense drums. The band describes “Bonehead” as a “primitive and raw” song, with a minimalist but forceful production.

In a world where it's easy to add more, we have a lot of fun cooking up junk and keeping it potent and pure. We wanted to capture the chaotic energy of those live moments without filters. “We recorded the basics in one take, warts and all,” the band says in a press release.

With this launch, Frankie and the Witch Fingers continues to cement their reputation as one of the most electrifying bands on the current psychedelic scene. His ability to mix chaotic energy with precise compositions has made his live performances unmissable, and “Bonehead” promises to be a powerful addition to your repertoire. As their tour dates approach and anticipation grows, fans can expect more surprises from this group that continues to break barriers with their frenetic and unbridled style. With more music on the way, this could be just the beginning of an exciting new phase for Frankie and the Witch Fingers.

The band has also announced their participation in the festival Daze & Confused, in addition to a fall tour with notable dates at various festivals such as Hypnosis in CDMX next November 2.
