‘Flowers’ by Miley Cyrus is also the best selling song in 2023 for IFPI

Music news

Say at this point in 2024 that flowers by Miley Cyrus is a song that has changed her life again, it’s almost a truism. Because after a few months of personal and even work crisis (remember that she lost an entire studio album in the fire at her house), the American soloist has once again found the path to resounding success thanks to flowers.

Never has a gesture like giving oneself flowers become such a powerful feminist demand and at the same time such a profitable break. And although the important thing is the mood, there is no doubt that no one would be able to reject these 2.7 billion singles sold from the most awarded song of 2023 for IFPI: Flowers by Miley Cyrus

A truly crazy number of figures and even more so if we take into account that its next pursuer in the classification of the body that regulates sales at the European level has obtained just over half of its visits. In the Top 10, Miley is accompanied by artists such as Rema and Selena Gomez, SZA, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Yng Lucas, Peso Pluma, Taylor Swift (twice) Morgan Wallen.
