Pay close attention because A24 Music announced the compilation Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sensewith which we will celebrate the recent re-release of the iconic film of the same name by Jonathan Demme and the 40th anniversary of the soundtrack.

This masterful delivery has the collaboration of the bands and artists: BADBADNOTGOOD, blondeshell, The Cavemen, Chicano Batman, DJ Tunisia, He Killed a Motor Police Officer, Girl In Red, Jean Dawson, Kevin Abstract, The Linda Lindas, Lorde, Miley Cyrus, Paramore, The National, Teezo Touchdown and bull and Moi. A mix of talent that will reflect the track listing of the original LP; With 16 exciting and surprising reinterpretations, it will not only introduce a new generation of listeners to the music of Talking Headsbut they will also offer new perspectives and unique versions of songs that longtime fans know.

What makes this release even more special is that they have managed to bring together the four main members of Talking Heads for the first time since 2002: David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison engaging in several onstage conversations to discuss their memories of the legendary film and album.

The first song to be released is the powerful version of Paramore of “Burning Down the House”which you can listen to on your favorite platform.

On January 27, A24 launched a new theater residency for Stop Making Sensewith monthly screenings in cities including Chicago, London, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, ahead of the 40th anniversary of its original release this summer.
