The second edition of “FI FEST” is taking shape, which will be held in Kid Yugi’s hometown, Massafra, on September 21 and 22, 2024.
The proceeds will be entirely donated to the pediatric oncohematology department “Nadia Toffa” of the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Taranto.
The festival will develop with a first day dedicated to live music, with paid admission, while the second day will be dedicated to the world of tattoos and writing, will host a freestyle contest and will be free admission.
THE LINEUP
Kid Yugi will perform on stage at the event on September 21. Other artists that will perform on the same night include Noyz Narcos, Artie 5ive, Tony Boy and Night Skinny.
This second edition of the memorial dedicated to Simone Mellone, the brother of a dear friend, renamed Fi Fest this year, is a source of pride for me” explained Kid Yugi. It seemed like a dream to organize an event of this magnitude with the sole purpose of doing charity to assist those affected by a disease that is sadly too common in these lands.
I am grateful to participate and contribute to the cause, but above all I am grateful that so many people from all over Italy are working to make it a great event. We are the demonstration that thousands of hands that join together with a common goal can win any arm wrestling, even against those evils that seem inevitable”.
The organization of the event is entrusted to the ROOTS association (“roots”), which organizes the “FI FEST” every year to donate all proceeds to charity. The president is Giovanni Giasi, known as “Ginko”, tour manager of the Massafra artist Francesco Stasi, aka KID YUGI. The first edition, held last year, allowed to donate 18,000 euros, with the aim of continuing to raise funds for charity and prevention every year. A noble purpose that sees the collaboration of the Municipality of Massafra and especially of the ASL of Taranto, with the help of various partners, sponsors and collaborators.

Saturday 21 September 2024, live concert at the Area Spettacoli (via Potenza 2, near the Stadio Comunale di Massafra) with paid admission from 18:00 to 24:00. Opening Act: Rrari dal Tacco, Scaccia, Welo, Young Hash, Niceboy Balenci, Yangl. Main Artists: Kid Yugi, Artie 5ive, Tony Boy, Night Skinny, Noyz Narcos.
Sunday 22 September 2024, tattoo convention at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Massafra with free admission from 11:00 to 23:00, under the direction of the Massafra tattoo artist Angelo Mellone with the involvement of over 30 tattoo artists and writers from all over Italy + freestyle contest (prize up for grabs: €500).
