Elvis: tribute to Graceland

Alanis Morissette, Kacey Musgraves and others will also perform in a “Christmas at Graceland” show at Elvis’ house.

This year, Graceland will host a group of artists paying tribute to the legacy of Elvis Presley.

Lana Del Rey, John Legend, Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, Alanis Morissette, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson and The War and Treaty will reunite at Presley’s Memphis, Tennessee home on November 29, according to People. The NBC special, titled “ Christmas at Graceland ”, will begin at 10 p.m. on NBC and Peacock.

This is the first time the legendary property has hosted a televised concert, and each artist will perform a song in tribute to Presley. Actress Riley Keough, daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of the singer and Priscilla Presley, will participate in the event.

With intimate musical performances inspired by my grandfather Elvis’ Christmases in Memphis, viewers will be invited to experience the magic of Christmas at Graceland. »

The rock and roll legend’s legacy has been brought back into the spotlight in Hollywood with the biopic Elvis in 2022 by Baz Luhrmann, who has been nominated for nine Oscars, and the most recent Priscilla by Sofia Coppola, adapted from Priscilla’s 1985 memoir, Elvis and me.
