ELASI feat WILLIE PEYOTE “Autostop” (Watch the video)

Music news

Hitch-hiking is the new single by ELASI feat WILLIE PEYOTE. The singer-songwriter, composer and producer returns with a song that is both intimate and universal, in which she, together with the Turin rapper and songwriter, talks about a relationship that is about to end.

Written with delicacy in the melancholy of a November afternoon and produced by Rocco Rampino, Autostop travels on soft and catchy electronic beats, landing on a magnetic refrain, which remains stuck in the ears from the first listen. ELASI and Willie identify with a couple suffering in the sad limbo of not being able to let go.

I collected the little pieces of my corazon and put them together in this piece trying to fill the cracks with gold like in kintsugi. ELASI tells.

The collaboration with Willie on this song, whose beat came from Rocco Rampino and me, was wonderfully spontaneous and natural.

The sound of the beat immediately won me over as soon as I heard it in the studio, adds Willie Peyote.

The idea of telling the difficulties of a relationship from two opposing points of view came very naturally because after all, when a story ends, each of the two partners has a different perception of the causes and faults.

The parties involved deal with the situation differently: just as in every relationship, everyone deals with the pain of communication difficulties in their own way. There are those who close themselves off and see detachment as the only solution and there are those who don’t give up and continue to give their all with purpose, despite the walls placed on the other side, as also shown by the story told in the video of the song .

THE TEXT

They say run while you still have time
Hitchhike nostop away from here
Instead I’m here in your arms
Non-stop own goals and a thousand films
(What are you doing to me)
There’s Chinatown burning
It’s my heart on fire
The darkness kisses me
My head is broken
You never apologize to me
My soul is crying
But I’m staying here because
I gave you everything I have
You leave my heart in shock
I gave you everything I have
You leave my heart in shock
Bad bad love
I gave you everything I have
You leave my heart in shock

I have more dicks in my head than a hen party
I don’t look good, I haven’t even eaten
And if I seem disinterested
And because we almost always talked about you
At least your psychologist gets paid
If you gave me half I would have been satisfied
Okay I admit I’ve never listened
Because we almost always talked about you
I already know everything about you, good and bad
Like a book already read The Christmas film
An armchair for two yes but two of us are cramped
And it doesn’t matter how long it takes you
You expect the naked truth from me
Photos at sunset at the seaside on the shoreline
I don’t have the right physique or the turtle
You want to make plans
I plan to escape

Embraced in the wind I no longer look for meaning
Yet I lose myself I lose myself
Every day I sing I no longer look for meaning
Yet I lose myself I lose myself

Everything everything I have
You leave my heart in shock
I gave you everything I have
You leave my heart in shock
But you always want more
I gave you everything I have
You leave my heart in shock
