EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN three concerts in October (Info and Tickets)

Music news

Einstürzende Neubauten return to Italy for three special autumn events in which they will present their new album “Rampen – apm: alien pop music”.

The first appointment is set for October 1st at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome as part of the Romaeuropa Festival (in collaboration with Musica per Roma), on October 2nd they will perform at the Teatro Dal Verme in Milan and, finally, on October 3rd on the stage of the Teatro Comunale of Ferrara as part of Ferrara Sotto le Stelle (preview of Internazionale Festival).

44 years after the start of their career, the German musical group retraces the exploration of their roots through the creation of a new genre with which they can define their music: thus “apm – alien pop music” was born.

A sound capable of enclosing the pursuit towards still unexplored sounds, apparently inaudible, but at the same time imbued with experimentation. A constant evolution, developed over more than four decades, during which Einstürzende Neubauten have been able to shift the parameters of the mainstream.

“Rampen – apm: alien pop music” represents a new recording chapter that will be released in April 2024 and in which Blixa and co. they give shape to that unpredictability and unconventionality that belongs to him:

“In the album I found solutions and formulated certain concepts in ways I had never explored, because they had never been so clear to me. I am a person who believes that knowledge can be achieved through music. It’s always been like this. I follow the conviction of finding something in music that I didn’t know before, but which at the same time is rich in meaning” declared Blixa Bargeld.

The central theme of the album is change, a step towards sonic evolution that finally manages to open up to infinite parallel universes and intermediate worlds. A microcosm that escapes all physical laws with which the band enters a stylistic terrain, placed between past and future, still unexplored, also represented by the bare artwork that recalls the iconic layout of the Beatles’ White Album.
