“Azizam” was born out of a fascinating collaboration between Ed Sheeran and the Swedish-Iranian producer Ilya Salmanzadeh (known for her work with Ariana Grande among others). Together, they explored the similarities between Persian and Irish folk music, and merged this influences into pop rhythms.
