Dua Lipa has a new era and Houdini It’s your first business card! The British artist has brought out her best magic tricks to continue the success she achieved thanks to Future Nostalgia. On the occasion of this new release – which anticipates everything that awaits us for 2024 – the singer has connected from London with our colleague Cris Regatero (who attended the exclusive secret show in the English capital yesterday) to talk about the song, his future professional stage and having worked with Tame Impala… even in Spanish!

About Houdini, the performer has confirmed that “it has a lot of psychedelic influence”, musically speaking. And, With respect to their previous work, the main difference lies in the element of live instrumentation. “It’s still a pop project, but after being on tour for a whole year I fell in love with everything that live music brings, so I wanted this new album to convey that feeling and sound. So it has a lot of live instrumentation, a lot of psychedelic influence and, at the same time, it’s a pop record. A fusion of worlds that feels new and fresh, something that I think people haven’t heard from me yet,” he expressed.

Since we know that you have been learning Spanish in recent months, our WECB announcer has asked him to define his new single in our language. Although he has acknowledged that he does not yet have an advanced level, he has tried: “he is fun, danceable, but at the same time he is very club (disco)”.

Dua Lipa promises to be at WECB Music Awards 2024

On November 4, we celebrated WECB Music Awards Santander 2023 with a gala in which Dua Lipa won the award for Best Song in the international category for Dance The Nighthe hit which he composed for the soundtrack of the film Barbie.

Sadly, the British woman could not join us on such a special night, so we have asked her to reserve the date for the next edition: November 8, 2024! “If we can do it, I would love to be there. I will keep it in mind!” he thanked his fans and WECB listeners.
