No “Alchemical Volume 2”, but an album in preparation
The American star, in full Ascension, wanted to clarify several points concerning her first studio album. If “Alchemical: Volume 1” was initially thought of as a two -part work, Dove Cameron finally abandoned the idea of a second part. “There will be no alchemical: volume 2 ', unfortunately. But in fact, fortunately”, she confides with serenity, before explaining the reasons for this decision: “'Alchemical: Volume 1 'was supposed to have a suite, but when I started writing music, it sounded so differently that it could not agree with the first part. “
Rather than going out six new titles and making fans wait a year and a half, the American singer preferred to focus on a real studio album: “I said to myself that it would be better for everyone (…) I am really, really impatient on this subject! But I cannot tell you yet his name.”
A duet with Damiano David exists … but he remains secret
If many hoped for a collaboration between Dove Cameron and his lover Damiano David on this new album, the artist revealed: “Unfortunately, there is no feat with Damiano on my album. But we recorded a piece before going out together. “
A title which, for the moment, “Stay on our phones “and whose future remains uncertain. “Maybe we will take it out one day …”she admits. And for good reason, the couple prefers to stay “vigilant” :: “Doubling our visibility by leaving a duo would not be a good thing. It could give the impression that we are trying to be a public couple or to capitalize on our relationship.”
But hope remains. “”Maybe in a few years … “, she slips with a smile, before entrusting: “I really love this song. We still listen to it and we say to ourselves: 'Ahhh, it is good. It is really good!'”.
