Boygenius headlined the Hollywood Bowl and invited Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl on stage to play drums on “ Satanist “. The group (Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker) were dressed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, while Grohl was dressed all in black and had his face painted.

Boygenius performed a list of his hits during the Halloween night concert, including “ Emily I’m Sorry “, ” Cool About It ” And ” Not Strong Enough “. They also performed solo songs from each of the three members of the group, including the title “ Motion Sickness » by Bridgers.

Boygenius released his first album, The Record, at the beginning of the year. Last month, the band released their four-song EP, The Rest, produced by Boygenius, Tony Berg, Jake Finch, Ethan Gruska, Calvin Lauber, Collin Pastore and Marshall Vore. The first title, “ Black Hole ”, was presented live during their first concert at the MGM Music Hall in Boston, while the group presented “ Afraid of Heights » the following evening.
