Dani Fernández has earned a place at the top of the Spanish music industry. He started as just a child in music, participating in television competitions and representing Spain in Junior Eurovision in 2006. Then came Auryn, the most successful Spanish boy band of the 21st century, whose journey ended in 2016, and which was all a learning school for Dani. And now, finally, the time has come to go solo and take the reins of his project with his debut album: Fires.
Dani Fernández, little by little, won over the public with his solo project. Songs like Bailemos, Clima Tropical and Tell others catapulted him as one of the most listened to artists in our country. Then came his concerts, after filling rooms, he started with the WiZink Centers and the festivals in which so many artists had seen perform. A WECB Music Awards award for Best Artist of the Year in 2022 and an Ondas Award for Musical Phenomenon. And now… their third album. Like Dani. Like Dani Fernández. The Pack.

“The release of the album was marked when I had all the songs and Iván Ferreiro recorded the last song for me,” says the artist, laughing. And the famous singer-songwriter appears in Oaxaca, one of the two collaborations. The other is Valeria Castro in What if we do it?: a collaboration that, as she explains to us, was born from the desire she had to do something with her. “I didn't choose Iván or Valeria thinking about number 1, but rather about the admiration I have for them and that their voices could go very far. I wanted to allow myself the luxury of sharing music, time and study with them,” the artist tells us.

“At the beginning of the creation of this album I did have more doubts and I was more insecure. But now I am quite sure with what we have created,” says the singer. And, for him, “an album is never finished and always has things that you can change.”
Dani tells us that he needed to stop to be able to see the entire project from the outside and see where he wanted to go with his music. “This album was planned for before, but I needed to find myself. Facing the blank page is the most difficult part of my project,” the singer confesses.

The pressure of social networks
Dani Fernández has also talked to us about the pressure that artists can have when releasing music. Speaking about her partner Carmen Boza's decision to stop making music because she felt she was behind the algorithms, Dani said the following: “I understand her. She is special and composes in a special way. I believe that her way of being does not It is allowed to go with the flow. It is true that I go through stages. There are times when I get fed up and want to quit, but when I go out on stage I think I never want that to happen. “Sometimes they give it to you from outside, with social networks and they share.”
In emotional management of social networks, Dani Fernández earned a master's degree when he was in the group Auryn. And during that time, social networks were constantly talking about the five members. “One of the things that makes me here is everything I have experienced with Auryn. At Auryn we were pressured by the company, by ourselves, we compared ourselves all the time to each other and to other artists,” he begins by saying. “I think that has helped me know which paths not to take. Seeing those paths and saying 'I don't want to go down this one'. The issue of privacy and that kind of thing, I realized that I didn't want to go that way and I have right,” the singer told us.

Dani's next project
Dani Fernández is going to have a 2025 full of success. In addition to his tour with La Jauría, the artist has revealed to us that he has a project in hand that will allow people to get to know him better than ever. At the moment we don't know what it is about, but knowing him, we are sure that something emotional is coming.
