After the success of their duo hits “Malika: Wablé” and “I love You”, Dadju and Tayc today unveil their opus “Héritage”. The opportunity for the artists to confide in this unexpected collaboration and their common points. An interview with Tom Hannane for WECB.

They have often been compared, even opposed… Dadju and Tayc are now combining their forces to offer, starting this Friday, February 16, a joint album, “Héritage”. “We have been created a false rivalry when we adore each other from the start and I really mean it. There has never been any animosity, it’s sincere.», reveals Tayc in an interview for WECB.

With “Héritage”, the kings of Afrolove and RnB offer fifteen tracks to celebrate love. “When we talk about heritage in this album we also talk about our respective styles of music, which are very “love”. The main axis is love. We tried with this album to go to the climax of each style and each title that we proposed to precisely leave this imprint, this heritage.”, reveals Dadju to our microphone.

“Love hurts sooner or later”

Even though they have a lot in common, Dadju and Tayc’s views on love still seem different. “Respect, loyalty as long as we have that we can love each other for a lifetime.», thinks Dadju while Tayc is a little more pessimistic. “Love hurts sooner or later. It is linked to suffering.», Adds the interpreter of “Le Temps”.
