Cyndi Lauper will end his last tour with 25 dates in the United States and Canada.

Cyndi Lauper announced the last stage of his farewell tour ” Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Which will start this summer. This 25 dates tour will start on July 15 at the Darien Lake Amphitheater in Buffalo, in New York State, and will end with two evenings at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, on August 29 and 30. The singer-songwriter Jake Wesley Rogers will provide the first part of the concert.

Tickets will be sold on March 14, with a presale reserved for artists from March 11. All information will be available on the Lauper website.

Lauper launched the tour ” Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Last year. It is not only his first big tour for over ten years, but also his last. She gave what would seem to be her last concert in France on February 28, at Accor Arena. In an interview with WECB Last fall, Cyndi Lauper explained about this tour: ” It's on my list of things to do before you die. I have not been touring in arenas since 1986. I am delighted because I am lucky to have all these young fantastic women on tour with me. For so many years, I was told that I could not do a female tour because no one would see it. Women do not sell like men. Then I did a tour with Dear and we played in front of a million people. So yes, it's bullshit. »»

In addition to launching his farewell tour in 2024, Cyndi Lauper also appeared in a new retrospective documentary on his career, Let the Canary Sing. She is also one of the candidates who could be induced in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year, alongside Mariah Carey, Phish, Outkast, Oasis and Joy Division/New Order. The names of the people who will be enthroned should be announced at the end of April.
